Carbonero named to Colombia World Cup team to replace injured Ramirez
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Colombia coach Jose Pekerman has named midfielder Carlos Carbonero to the World Cup team to replace the injured Aldo Leao Ramirez.
The loss of Ramirez, who was injured in Friday's 3-0 friendly win over Jordan, comes after Monaco striker Radamel Falcao was left off Colombia's squad due to his slow recovery from a knee injury.
Carbonero, who plays for River Plate in the Argentine first division league, has not played for Colombia since Pekerman took charge in January 2012.
