Arlington, VA (SportsNetwork.com) - The Washington Capitals have agreed to terms with forward Evgeny Kuznetsov on an entry-level contract beginning this season.

Kuznetsov played in 31 games with Chelyabinsk Traktor of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) this season, recording eight goals and 13 assists. He led Chelyabinsk in scoring in each season from 2010-13.

The 21-year-old has 65 goals and 81 assists to go along with 124 penalty minutes in 210 career KHL games with Chelyabinsk.

Kuznetsov was taken by the Capitals with the 26th overall pick in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft.
