Vancouver, BC (SportsNetwork.com) - Vancouver starting goaltender Roberto Luongo is day-to-day with a lower-body injury and will not play in his club's next game.
Canucks head coach John Tortorella revealed Friday that the 34-year-old, who departed in the first period of a 2-1 win against Winnipeg on Dec. 22, won't suit up on Sunday when the club resumes its post-Christmas schedule against the Flames in Calgary.
"I'm not sure what's going to happen to Roberto," Tortorella relayed. "(Eddie) Lack will play and we'll see where we go from there,"

Lack will get the start, and the Canucks recalled netminder Joacim Eriksson from Utica of the American Hockey League. Eriksson is 8-10-1 with a 2.77 GAA for the Comets this year.
"I have total confidence in his play, so he steps in," said Tortorella of Lack, who carries a 6-2-0 record and 1.93 GAA over 11 appearances this season.
