Bucs CB Eric Wright arrested

Tampa Bay Buccaneers cornerback Eric Wright was arrested on suspicion of felony driving under the influence.

According to multiple media sources, Wright was arrested early Monday when his car rear ended a pickup truck near the Staples Center just after midnight.

Wright reportedly told officers he was drinking alcohol and he refused to take a sobriety test. He was taken to jail and was released on $100,000 bail.

The 26-year-old Wright, who signed a five-year contract in the offseason, joins the Buccaneers after spending the 2011 season in Detroit. With the Lions, Wright started all 16 games and recorded 74 tackles. He also tied a career-high with four interceptions.

A second-round pick by Cleveland in 2007, the UNLV product played his first four seasons with the Browns.
