Browns' Cameron to miss third consecutive game

Berea, OH (SportsNetwork.com) - The Cleveland Browns have ruled out tight end Jordan Cameron for Sunday's game against Houston as he continues to recover from an October concussion.

Cameron left Cleveland's 23-13 win over Oakland on Oct. 26 in the second quarter after making his third catch of the game. Since then, he has missed games against Tampa Bay and Cincinnati, and he has not even been able to return to the practice field.

The fourth year veteran and 2013 Pro Bowl choice has struggled with injuries in 2014 and has managed to play in just six games, making 13 catches for 250 yards and one touchdown. Cameron missed Cleveland's Week 2 game against New Orleans with a shoulder injury.

This concussion is the third Cameron has suffered since 2012.

Defensive tackle Phil Taylor, who returned last Thursday against Cincinnati after missing four games recovering from a knee procedure, was placed on injured reserve after suffering a different knee injury last Thursday against the Bengals.

He finished the year with 10 tackles and one forced fumble.
