ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (AP) The Denver Broncos promoted running back Kapri Bibbs from their practice squad Saturday and released recently signed tight end Richard Gordon.
The Broncos (5-0) head into their game at Cleveland (2-3) on Sunday thin in the backfield with Juwan Thompson dealing with a pulled hamstring.
Bibbs is a second-year player who spent four weeks of his rookie season on Denver's active roster last year after signing as an undrafted free agent out of Colorado State.

He has played in seven preseason games with the Broncos, rushing for 111 yards and three TDs on 25 carries.
