Bradford, Rams beat Manning-less Colts

Sam Bradford completed 7-of-12 passes for 45 10, in preseason action.

A.J. Feeley connected on 10-of-14 passes for 100 yards for the Rams, who went 7-9 last season. Thaddeus Lewis completed 3-of-5 passes for 28 yards.

Ex-Bucs running back Cadillac Williams was impressive in his St. Louis debut, rushing for 40 yards and a score on 11 carries. Keith Toston carried the ball 11 times for 64 yards and a touchdown.

Tight end Lance Kendricks, the team's second-round draft choice, caught five passes for 47 yards and a score.

The Rams were very effective under new offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels. The former Broncos head coach replaced Pat Shurmur in the offseason.

Rookie Jermale Hines, Craig Dahl and former Eagle Quintin Mikell each had an interception for the Rams.

With Manning on the physically unable to perform list due to an offseason neck procedure, Curtis Painter lined up under center for Indianapolis. Painter completed 3-of-6 passes for 55 yards and an interception.

Dan Orlovsky connected on 4-of-10 passes for 111 yards, a touchdown and two interceptions for the Colts, who went 10-6 last season and lost to the Jets in the Wild Card round.
