Bobcats coach Steve Clifford says center Al Jefferson will miss his second straight game — and seventh this season — with a sore ankle Saturday night against the Miami Heat.

Bismack Biyombo will start at center for Charlotte (5-4).

Biyombo averages 3.7 points per game, a significant drop-off from the 15 points per game the veteran Jefferson is averaging this season.

Heat coach Erik Spoelstra says guard Ray Allen (cold) and forward Udonis Haslem (back spasms) will not play.

The Heat will also be without Mario Chalmers, who is suspended for one game after being ejected from Miami's 110-104 victory over the Dallas Mavericks on Friday night.
