Charlotte, NC – The Charlotte Bobcats have signed first-round draft pick Michael Kidd-Gilchrist.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed for the former Kentucky standout, who was selected with the second overall pick of last month's draft.
The 6-foot-7 Kidd-Gilchrist spent just one season at Kentucky and helped the Wildcats to the national championship. He averaged 11.9 points, 7.4 rebounds and 1.9 assists in 40 games.
