Toronto Blue Jays slugger Edwin Encarnacion is back in the lineup for Game 2 of the ALCS on Saturday afternoon.

Encarnacion left Friday's night Game 1 loss to the Royals in the eighth inning to have precautionary X-rays on the middle finger on his left hand. The X-rays were negative, but he was diagnosed with a sprained ligament in that finger.

Toronto certainly could use Encarnacion's bat after being shut out and held to three hits Friday night. In six games this postseason, he is 6 for 21 with a homer and three RBI.

The Blue Jays will try to even the best-of-seven series at a game apiece on Saturday (3:30 p.m. ET on FS1).
