The Columbus Blue Jackets re-signed right wing Jared Boll to a two-year contract on Saturday.

Boll, 26, has spent his entire five-year career with Columbus after being a fourth-round pick of the club in 2005. In 345 games, Boll has 22 goals, 24 assists and 863 penalty minutes.

"Jared is a hard-working, honest player who gives everything he has every time he steps on the ice," executive vice president of player operations and general manager Scott Howson said. "He has also been a great ambassador in our community and we are happy that he will continue to be a Blue Jacket."

Last season, Boll was second on the Blue Jackets with 126 penalty minutes in 54 games. He added two goals and an assist.
