Blackhawks send W Kopecky to Panthers
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}CHICAGO (AP) - The Chicago Blackhawks have sent wing Tomas Kopecky to Florida in exchange for a seventh-round draft pick.
The team said Monday it will receive a 2012 pick, conditional to Nashville. If that pick is not available, Chicago gets Florida's seventh-round pick in 2013.
The 29-year-old Kopecky had 25 goals and 38 assists in two years with Chicago.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Over the weekend, the Blackhawks traded defenseman Brian Campbell to the Panthers for forward Rostislav Olesz. They also traded left wing Troy Brouwer to the Washington Capitals.
