Chicago, IL (SportsNetwork.com) - Chicago Blackhawks goaltender Corey Crawford is expected to miss the next 2-to-3 weeks after injuring his left foot while attending a concert.
Crawford told reporters Wednesday that he took an awkward step while exiting the show. The 2013 Stanley Cup champion backstop was spotted wearing a walking boot during the interview.
Antti Raanta, who has made just three starts so far this season, will take over as the Blackhawks' No. 1 goaltender in Crawford's absence. Chicago recalled Scott Darling from Rockford of the American Hockey League Tuesday to serve as the backup.
