Bills vs Jets at Ford Field a hot ticket in home of Detroit Lions _ especially when it's free

Die-hard fans of the Buffalo Bills and New York Jets might be hard to find in the hometown of the Detroit Lions. But there's certainly no shortage of fans of free tickets to an Empire State matchup in the Motor City.

More than 67,000 tickets were distributed for the Bills' home game Monday night in Detroit. It was rescheduled and moved after heavy snow in western New York last week.

That doesn't guarantee a sell-out in a 65,000-capacity stadium. Bills President Russ Brandon acknowledges the no-show rate rises when tickets are free, though he hopes for a "robust house."

Jennifer Trimmer nabbed four tickets and is making the roughly 80-mile drive with her boyfriend from Lansing to Detroit, where they'll tailgate and watch the game with friends.
