Lake Forest, IL (SportsNetwork.com) - The Chicago Bears added secondary depth on Friday by signing cornerback Alan Ball to a one-year contract.
Ball, 29, spent the past two seasons with Jacksonville, starting 22 games. He missed the final nine games in 2014 because of a biceps injury.
A seventh-round pick by Dallas in 2007, Ball has registered 216 tackles and six interceptions in 93 career games (44 starts) with the Cowboys, Texans and Jaguars.
