Oakland, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - The Oakland Athletics activated reliever and 2014 All-Star Sean Doolittle from the disabled list Tuesday.
Doolittle missed all of spring training and the first 47 games of the season with a strained left rotator cuff. He made five rehab appearances over stints with Oakland's top three farm teams.
The left-hander had 22 saves last season and a 2.73 ERA in 61 appearances out of the bullpen.
