Solomon Bozeman scored 17 points, including four free throws in the final 28 seconds, as Ark.-Little Rock withstood a furious second-half comeback to defeat Troy 76-73 on Saturday night.

Troy (2-13, 0-3) played without coach Don Maestri, who didn't make the trip because of a minor illness, a school official said, adding that it's the first game Maestri has missed in his 41 years of coaching.

Ark.-Little Rock (9-9, 1-2 Sun Belt Conference) had built a 41-27 lead by halftime, but Troy opened the second half with a 24-7 run, capped by Will Weathers' layup that gave Troy a 51-48 lead with 9:28 remaining. Ark.-Little Rock answered with back-to-back 3-pointers from Matt Mouzy to take the lead for good, 54-51.

Troy got as close as 72-70 with 10 seconds remaining, but Bozeman made a pair of free throws as did Alex Garcia-Mendoza to seal it for Ark.-Little Rock.

Weathers led Troy with 27 points and 10 assists while Shawntez Patterson and Regis Huddleston scored 11 points each.

Daylon Guy had 14 points while D'Andre Williams and Mouzy scored 12 each for Ark.-Little Rock.
