An elderly soccer fan became so angry with a referee who handed out six yellow cards to Dutch side FC Oss that he rode on to the pitch in his mobility scooter and tried to run the official down.
Video of the incident -- one of the most bizarre examples of sports spectator violence -- emerged online Tuesday.
Oss, the home side, lost 4-3 to Almere City in the Dutch second division match Friday night, apparently prompting the attack.

Referee Edwin van der Graaf was walking off the ground into the players' tunnel when an unidentified man with gray hair, gray beard and glasses came from the side and clipped him on the leg with his scooter.
In the video, which appeared on AOL Fanhouse UK among other sites, the ref turned around to confront the man, who attempted to hit him again, but van der Graaf was able to evade him.
It was unclear whether the man would be prosecuted.
