Houston, TX (SportsNetwork.com) - American Jack Sock upset third-seeded South African Kevin Anderson at the U.S. Men's Clay Court Championship on Saturday to reach his first career ATP final.
Sock survived 14 aces by Anderson and fired seven of his own in a 7-6 (7-3), 6-3 win at River Oaks Country Club.
He moved on to Sunday's final against either sixth-seeded Fernando Verdasco of Spain or American Sam Querrey, who were facing off in the other semifinal.
Querrey upset top-seeded Feliciano Lopez in the quarterfinals on Friday.
Sunday's winner will claim $88,800.
