Santa Clara, CA – The San Francisco 49ers have signed veteran year contract.
The 32-year-old Peelle, a fourth-round draft choice by the San Diego Chargers in 2002, had played the previous three seasons for Atlanta. He had 10 catches for 96 yards and a touchdown in 2010.
During his career with the Chargers (2002-05), Dolphins (2006-07) and Falcons, he has compiled 122 receptions for 984 yards and 12 scores.
To make room on the roster, the 49ers waived safety Colin Jones.
