2024 WNBA Championship odds: Aces, Liberty favored; Clark, Fever falling

With the WNBA season in full swing, title odds are on the move, with two clear favorites at the top.

After the WNBA Draft, reigning champion Las Vegas' odds moved to +100 after opening at +115.

Now, at 16-7, those odds have moved to +140 from +165 over the past week, while the 20-4 New York Liberty saw their odds move slightly to +180 from +170 during that time frame.

The Aces and Liberty met in the WNBA Finals last season, with Las Vegas winning the series 3-1.

Further down the list is Indiana — a team whose odds are tumbling again.

A week ago, the Fever were sitting at +5000 to win it all; now those title futures have moved down the board to +8000.

Let's look at every WNBA squad's title futures at BetMGM.

Caitlin Clark and the Fever have won four of their last six, including an 81-74 win over the Lynx on July 14. In that game, Clark had 17 points, 6 assists and 3 rebounds.

However, one week before that, Caitlin made history by achieving the first triple-double by a rookie in WNBA history in her team's 83-78 victory over the Liberty on July 6. She racked up 19 points, 13 assists and 12 rebounds in the win.

It hasn't been all roses for the league's newest superstar, though.

A little more than a week before her big triple-double, Caitlin went 4-of-9 from the field in Indiana's 89-77 loss to Seattle.

Following that loss, NBA champion and FOX Sports contributor Paul Pierce said that Clark needs to focus more on her offense.

"Initially, she came into the league — to me — as a scorer," Pierce said on a recent episode of "Undisputed." "Yeah, we know about your passing ability.

"But don't come in here to the WNBA trying to lead the league in assists when we know you led the nation in scoring. One of the best scorers in college basketball history — if not the best in women's basketball … it's time to start getting these shots up."
