Less than a year after purchasing a three-bedroom ranch home in Santa Barbara, CA, for $2.36 million, he's relisted the property for $2,795,000 -- promising a $435,000 profit if it sells for full price.
Daugherty made a name for himself starring at center for the Cleveland Cavaliers, averaging 19 points per game over his eight-year career. He retired after the 1993 -- 94 season due to a back injury, and soon began pursuing his feverish passion for NASCAR, owning stakes in several teams and serving as a professional racing analyst for ESPN.
His California flipper has been beautifully updated: Removing the kitchen island and adding white open shelving make the space feel larger and bright. A few buckets of white paint -- not to mention bifold doors opening onto the back patio -- bring the sun indoors and provide easy access to the outdoor space.
