Former NBA Star Brian Grant Selling $2M Oregon Mansion
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Brian Grant, who manned the paint for 12 years in the NBA before being diagnosed with Parkinson's disease, is selling his home outside of Portland, OR, for $2.1 million.
The 44-year-old former power forward's home is a 5,702-square-foot mansion with five bedrooms and four bathrooms. The Traditional-style, two-story structure has a master bedroom on the main level with its own gas fireplace and steam shower. A couple of bedrooms feature blackboard walls, perfect for kids who like to doodle.
Outside is a built-in barbecue area, large covered patio, a pool, and a pool house. Sliding doors open to the workout room, and a sauna is nearby. The property sits on just over a half-acre of land at the end of a gated driveway in Lake Oswego.

In 2008, two years into his retirement, Grant was diagnosed with Parkinson's at the age of 36. He is well-known for his charity work through his Brian Grant Foundation, headquartered in Portland.
