LOCATION: Los Angeles
PRICE: $22.9 million

Situated above the Sunset Strip in the Hollywood Hills, this newly built estate is packed with amenities. The 13,820-square-foot home spans three levels. The backyard features a cabana and a 75-foot-long zero-edge swimming pool that can be seen from the bottom floor.

“The pool is totally visible from the lower level. It’s like an aquarium,” said listing agent Sally Forster Jones of John Aaroe Group, who is co-listing the property with Mauricio Umansky of the Agency. The lower level, which is used as a lounge, includes a bar, a movie theater, a gym and a sauna.

Pocket doors in the first-floor living areas open to the grounds. A motorized rack in the dining room can transport a wine bottle to the master wing on the second floor. “Everything is mechanical, everything is state of the art,” said Forster Jones. The home has five bedrooms, seven full bathrooms and three partial bathrooms.

The property belongs to developer Cyrus Harouni of Hafco & Associates. "I wanted to create a home with a sense of mystery and playfulness," he said in an email. "I wanted to create toys that would surprise a guest as they walked through the home."

The lot was once the site of a smaller house that belonged to fashion designer Nicky Hilton Rothschild.
