Donald Trump claimed that he "predicted" the terrorist attack in Brussels last week and shot back at a publication that mocked him for a recent interview in which he called the European city a "hellhole."
"I'm the only one that predicted it. I said Brussels is a hellhole and the New York Times mocked me," the GOP presidential front-runner said Sunday on ABC's "This Week."
"And then all of a sudden, it came out the attack took place in Brussels," Trump added. I understand what's going on around the world far better than these politicians do. I'm all over it."

Trump never said he expected an attack in Brussels, but he did argue the city was a breeding ground for conflict.
