The Marine Corps has canceled plans for a unisex cap for male and female dress uniforms, according to The Wall Street Journal.
The military branch was considering the idea of issuing one cap when redesigning its female caps.
The Marine Corps issued a survey earlier this week to gauge interest two options for unisex cap. However, Marine Corps Commandant Gen. James Amos ended the debate Friday when saying: “The survey was incorrect when published and has been pulled. The Marine Corps has zero intention of changing the male cover.”
