Live Updates: Biden cuts ad for Ossoff, Warnock

President-elect Joe Biden urged Georgians to vote for Democratic Senate candidates Jon Ossoff and Rev. Raphael Warnock in a brand-new ad after campaigning for them in Georgia this week.

"My administration is preparing to beat Covid-19 and get economic relief to the American people. On day one as your president, I’m prepared to sign a Covid relief package that fully funds the public health repsonse needed, led by Georgia’s own CDC," Biden says in the ad released on Thursday. "Let me be clear: I need Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff in the United States Senate to get this done."

Democrats are hoping for a double victory in the Georgia Senate runoffs that gives them majority power in both the House of Representatives and the Senate during a Biden administration.

Ossoff and Warnock are challenging Republican Sens. David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler in the runoffs.
