Charles Krauthammer told viewers Thursday on “Special Report with Bret Baier” that there is no question about Pope Francis’ “genuineness.”

“What I think strikes everyone is the humility of this man,” Krauthammer, a syndicated columnist and Fox News contributor, said.

He called the way Pope Francis “embraces the least among us” the “ultimate message of religion.”

Krauthammer said that while the pope’s political views are debatable, his universal message is not. Krauthammer said the pope’s humility and humble nature is “what made the visit so touching and so universally important.”
