Huckabee calls for term limits for justices

Still incensed by the court's narrow ruling on gay marriage last week, former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee said that there needs to be a term limit for justices, who now serve lifetime appointments.

A judge appointed to the court for 40 years "might have outlived six or seven presidents in that time," he said on CNN's "State of the Union."

Huckabee was unsure how long exactly justices should serve. He threw out 16 or 20-year term limits as examples and added "I don't have an arbitrary goal in mind."

Huckabee said that supporters of same-sex marriage were hypocritical when it came to the court.
