House to punt on contempt of Congress measure for Clinton IT aide

The House plans to put off until November any consideration of a contempt of Congress citation for the ex-State Department IT specialist who set up Hillary Clinton’s private server, Fox News has learned.
The development comes less than a week after the House oversight committee voted to recommend holding Bryan Pagliano in contempt of Congress after he repeatedly ignored a subpoena to appear before the panel.
“Subpoenas are not optional,” committee Chairman Jason Chaffetz, R-Utah, said last week.

The full House initially was slated to vote on holding Pagliano in contempt of Congress on Thursday.
That is now delayed. Democrats have described the contempt citation push as a partisan attack.
