Sen. Elizabeth Warren is traveling to the Middle East countries, her first trip abroad as a senator.

The Massachusetts Democrat met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu Monday in Tel Aviv, according to the Jerusalem Post. She then attended the Knesset — the Israeli legislature — before meeting with other Israel officials.

Warren, who arrived in Israel Saturday, is expected to meet with Israeli, Palestinian and United Nation officials in the region, while traveling to both the West Bank and Jordan, according to the Boston Globe.

The senator has repeatedly denied she will challenge frontrunner Hillary Clinton in the 2016 presidential primary, but her latest trip to Israel may mean she is adding foreign policy chops to her political repertoire in case she decides to run.
