'Big Brother' In the School Cafeteria or Good Program?
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}
An Iowa school district’s lunch program requires students – some as young as 5 – to memorize a four-digit PIN code so it can track what kids eat in the school cafeteria. Some parents, however, are claiming it’s just an unhealthy case of “Big Brother” intrusion. The school district defends the program, saying it helps make sure it’s meeting state guidelines intended to combat childhood obesity. What do you think: Is this a case of “Big Brother” or a good program?
