Shannon Bream, Kayleigh McEnany, Trace Gallagher, Joe Concha and other top Fox News talent deliver real-time analysis of the vice presidential debate simulcast.
Coverage for this event has ended.
Fox News Channel's political analyst Juan Williams said "Vance was getting pummeled on Jan.6" during the CBS News VP debate.
"Can’t say Trump lost… non answers," Williams said. "Vance must worry Trump will say he is too soft and agreeable with Walz. But Jan. 6th answer sent him sailing into Trump mania."
"Walz in his closing statement: "Kamala Harris will bring a new way forward. The politics of joy." Hang it on a wall."
--Joe Concha, Fox News Media Analyst
It goes without saying that JD Vance is an extraordinary debater, but the most important thing he did tonight was communicate a message to suburban women.
🔹 A PLAN to protect our babies in schools.
🔹 A PLAN to enable women to choose life for the babies they love.
🔹 A PLAN for childcare, paid family leave.
& an acknowledgment of the suffering children on our southern border.
THIS is EXACTLY the message the GOP needed to communicate tonight, and JD Vance nailed it.
"The media did JD Vance a favor by demonizing him as much as they did in the run up to this debate. He comes across as the most knowledgeable and relatable person on either ticket and it runs completely counter to how he’s been portrayed. There’s no doubt that people watching him for the first time are pleasantly surprised."
-- Jimmy Failla, host of "Fox News Saturday Night"
"Did Vance say Trump salvaged Obamacare? Wow! Vance appealing look an hour ago melted away as Walz experience as governor and congressman leaves in dust as mouthy Yale theorist with no real world answers."
--Juan Williams, co-host of "The Five"
Vance leaves time because he is repeating himself on Harris should use current office to solve problems. He has no answer on housing but blaming Harris. Seems to be agreeing with Walz, leaning on him as crutch .
-- Juan Williams currently serves as a senior political analyst, appearing across FOX News Channel’s (FNC) daytime and primetime programming including Special Report with Bret Baier and FOX News Sunday.
"Strong answer from Walz on guns while Vance looks away on red flag laws and background checks."
--Juan Williams, co-host of "The Five"
"'Knucklehead,' was good response but Walz sounds evasive. Good to say values matter and Trump wouldn’t be praising Chinese leaders if he had visited China during summer of ‘89."
--Juan Williams, co-host of "The Five"
JD Vance is speaking to every mom when he talks about increasing security in our children's schools.
Every mom in America worries about this issues -- every single one of us.
The only point I would add is exposing that Kamala called for REMOVING cops from schools in a 2019 interview.
-- Kayleigh McEnany, co-host of "Outnumbered"
"Walz's answer about lying about being in Hong Kong when he was in Nebraska during the Tiananmen Square massacre is beyond horrible. Rambled for 2 minutes, doesn't answer why he lied. He eventually says he misspoke and was wobbly in doing so. I've seen enough. This is over."
--Joe Concha, Fox News Media Analyst
"FACT CHECK: Tim Walz was asked about 9th month abortion. Omits that, under Tim Walz, babies born alive were left to die. Then, he removed reporting requirements. ⬇️

--Kayleigh McEnany, co-host of "Outnumbered"
"'Gas, groceries, and housing'... strong case made by Vance on bringing prices down. 'Affordability'... that's what it's all about it for so many American voters right now."
-- Co-anchor of Fox News Channel's America Reports Sandra Smith.
"Vance says Trump tax cuts for rich helps workers. ‘Trickle Down’ spin comes back to life."
--Juan Williams, co-host of "The Five"
Does anybody want to talk about the economy? At last check it was the number one issue Americans care about in this election.
-- Trace Gallagher, FOX News Channel’s (FNC) chief breaking news correspondent and was recently named anchor of FOX News @ Night
"On the optics front, the split screen shows Tim Walz looking overwhelmed by Vance's answers. He didn't see this coming. And he can't stop saying "Donald Trump." Over and over. He isn't making the argument *for* Kamala Harris,"
-- Joe Concha, Fox News contributor
If the moderators want to fact check Vance, shouldn’t they at least be accurate? And, shouldn’t they also leave his microphone open if he begs to differ?
-- Trace Gallagher, FOX News Channel’s (FNC) chief breaking news correspondent and was recently named anchor of FOX News @ Night
After CBS News hosts cut JD Vance and Tim Walz's microphones during the debate, Fox News Channel's Trace Gallagher slammed the network for appearing to "fact check" only one of the candidates.
"CBS News said it would not fact check the debate but so far it has fact checked Vance and Trump three separate times." --Trace Gallagher, FOX News Channel’s chief breaking news correspondent
CBS breaks its promise not to fact-check. Twice. Vance finally is having none of it and fact-checks Margaret Brennan on her fact-check. CBS cuts the mic. This is as bad as the ABC debate. What a joke. All of that said, Vance is owning the stage. This isn't even close.
-- Joe Concha, FOX News contributor
"Tim Walz is nervous and making little sense early on. He failed to answer the question about whether Israel should strike Iran at all."
-- Trace Gallagher, "Fox News at Night" Anchor and Fox News Chief Breaking News Correspondent
"Oh, boy, deflecting already. I guess he had to get out memorized claptrap and struggled with that. I hope we get some answers tonight...
"The administration buys many clean energy products and components from China, which uses a lot of coal to make them."
"The "debate" is shaping up, with moderators putting a finger on the scale. If you want to know when Walz falls short, pay attention to the moderators' mention of "facts" and "clarifications.""
-- Charles Payne, host of Fox Business' "Making Money"
JD Vance just became one of the first political figures in recent memory to spotlight the HEINOUS conditions for illegal immigrant children at the border.
He spoke about the 320,000 children DHS has lost -- many now victims of child labor and worse.
"The real family separation problem is Kamala's wide open border."
YES! YES! YES!
-- Kayleigh McEnany, co-host of Outnumbered (weekdays, 12 PM/ET) on FOX News Channel.
"Vance smooth in speaking. He mentions his military service but Walz did not mention his lengthy service. Walz did well to mention that Trump tore up deal keeping Iran from nuclear arms."
-- Juan Williams, co-host of "The Five"
"On Gallup's list of issues most important to Americans, climate change does not even hit 1%.
It is an asterisk (*), so why is this the second topic of the debate?
The topic should be the failed hurricane response of Biden/Harris."
--Kayleigh McEnany, host of Outnumbered
We’re 15 minutes in and NOBODY has mentioned crowd sizes, cat eating, or golf handicaps. Are we SURE this is an official debate?
-- Jimmy Failla, host of FOX News Saturday Night (Saturdays, 10 PM/ET) and FOX News Radio program "FOX Across America"
"Tim Walz heralds the 'steady leadership' of Kamala Harris. So-called 'steady leadership' has led to the Afghanistan disaster, war in Ukraine, war in the Middle East, inflation, natural disaster botched response, unfettered illegal immigration and the list goes on... and on... and on..."
--Kayleigh McEnany, host of Outnumbered
Tim Walz did not answer the first very important question.
So many falsehoods from Gov Tim Walz on Trump. No solutions.
-- Maria Bartiromo, anchor of Mornings with Maria on FBN (6-9 AM/ET) and anchors Sunday Morning Futures, the most watched Sunday morning program on cable (10 AM/ET) on FOX News Channel (FNC)
Walz opens by saying Donald Trump is too unstable to lead us in this unstable world. Fails to mention that the world was WAY more stable when Donald Trump WAS in charge. Walz is 0-1.
-- Jimmy Failla, host of "Fox News Saturday Night"
Can Walz give America the chance to see Vance talk about ‘cat women,’ and immigrants eating pets? Can Vance put Walz on defensive about ‘stolen valor?’
-- Juan Williams, senior political analyst, appearing across FOX News Channel’s (FNC) daytime and primetime programming including Special Report with Bret Baier and FOX News Sunday.
