Wrapping up Tuesday: Dems silent after Biden calls Trump voters 'garbage,' Harris gives final pitch

President Biden said Tuesday that supporters of former President Trump are "garbage," although the president claims he was referring to a singular supporter — comedian Tony Hinchcliffe — in the possessive.

"The only garbage I see floating out there is his supporters. His demonization of Latinos is unconscionable. And it's un-American," Biden said, referring to Hinchcliffe's joke at a Trump rally in which he said Puerto Rico is a "floating island of garbage."

Biden later attempted to clarify his comment.

"Earlier today I referred to the hateful rhetoric about Puerto Rico spewed by Trump's supporter at his Madison Square Garden rally as garbage—which is the only word I can think of to describe it," Biden wrote on X. "His demonization of Latinos is unconscionable. That's all I meant to say. The comments at that rally don't reflect who we are as a nation."

The White also released a transcript of Biden's remarks in which "supporter's" is used rather than "supporters."

"And just the other day, a speaker at his rally called Puerto Rico a 'floating island of garbage.' Well, let me tell you something. I don't -- I -- I don't know the Puerto Rican that -- that I know -- or a Puerto Rico, where I'm fr- -- in my home state of Delaware, they're good, decent, honorable people. The only garbage I see floating out there is his supporter’s -- his -- his demonization of Latinos is unconscionable, and it's un-American. It's totally contrary to everything we've done, everything we've been," the transcript reads.

Vice President Harris and most other Democrats have not publicly reacted to Biden's comment. Pennsylvania's Democrat Gov. Josh Shapiro, however, did respond to the president's statement.

"I'm giving you my fresh reaction to it," Shapiro told Fox News Radio Political Analyst Josh Kraushaar. "I would never insult the good people of Pennsylvania or any Americans even if they chose to support a candidate that I didn't support."

Trump said to "please forgive" Biden for "not knowing what he said."

Harris and Trump both delivered remarks Tuesday in their closing arguments with only a week until election day.

"America: I know that the vast majority of us have so much more in common than what separates us," Harris said in Washington, D.C. "That's why I'm in this race. To fight for The People. Just like I always have. Nearly 250 years ago, America was born when we wrested freedom from a petty tyrant."

Trump held a press conference at Mar-a-Lago where he said Harris was running on a "campaign of destruction" and "of absolute head."

RFK Jr. calls SCOTUS decision to keep his name on ballots in Michigan, Wisconsin a 'political move'

Former independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. said the U.S. Supreme Court's ruling to leave his name on the ballots in the battleground states of Michigan and Wisconsin is a "purely political move."

Kennedy Jr. suspended his campaign in August to endorse former President Trump. He sought to remove his name from ballots in swing states that could hurt Trump's campaign.

"The Supreme Court has unfortunately today sided with the Secretary of State of Michigan and Wisconsin, both Democrats, to undermine election integrity and leave my name on the ballot in both those states," Kennedy wrote Tuesday on X.

"It is a purely political move in the hope that folks who would have otherwise voted for Trump will throw away their vote by voting for me instead," he continued. "Don't let them undermine this election. Don't be fooled. I am off the ballot in every other state I have sought to get off of other than Michigan and Wisconsin. So, if you are in Michigan or Wisconsin, please make sure to vote for Donald Trump — DO NOT VOTE FOR ME. Together we will Make America Healthy Again!"

Trump responds after Biden calls his supporters ‘garbage’: ‘Please forgive him’

President Trump on Tuesday told a crowd of supporters that they must “forgive” President Biden after he compared Trump’s supporters to garbage.

“Wow. That's terrible,” Trump said, invoking Hillary Clinton’s infamous “deplorable” remarks in the weeks before the 2016 election.

“That didn't work out. Garbage, I think is worse. Right. But he doesn't know. You have to please forgive him. Please forgive him for he not knowing what he said. These people – terrible, terrible, terrible to say a thing like that. But he really doesn't know. He really, honestly, he doesn't. And I'm convinced that he likes me more than he likes Kamala. But that's a terrible thing.”

Biden made the comments during a campaign press call earlier in the day, reacting to a joke by comedian Tony Hinchcliffe that liked Puerto Rico to and island of garbage during his opening remarks at Trump’s rally in Madison Square Garden.

White House attempts damage control after Biden calls Trump supporters 'garbage'

The White House late Tuesday tried to walk back President Biden’s remarks, comparing Trump supporters to “garbage.”

White House spokesperson Andrew Bates told Fox News' Jacqui Heinrich that President Biden “referred to the hateful rhetoric at the Madison Square Garden rally as ‘garbage.’”

The president was referencing a joke by comedian Tony Hinchcliffe in which he likened Puerto Rico to an island of floating “garbage” in the middle of the ocean.

The White House provided the following transcript of Biden's comments:

BIDEN: “And just the other day, a speaker at his rally called Puerto Rico a “floating island of garbage.” Well, let me tell you something. It's totally contrary to everything we've done, everything we've been.”

The White House earlier told NBC News that the president was referring to Hinchcliffe.

Later, Biden tried to clarify further.

"Earlier today I referred to the hateful rhetoric about Puerto Rico spewed by Trump's supporter at his Madison Square Garden rally as garbage—which is the only word I can think of to describe it," Biden wrote in a post on X. "His demonization of Latinos is unconscionable. That's all I meant to say. The comments at that rally don't reflect who we are as a nation."

Trump, Harris hold dueling events offering their vision for America 1 week before Election Day

Former President Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris held dueling rallies Tuesday evening, making their last pitch to voters one week before Election Day.

Later he headed to Drexel, Pennsylvania where he participated in a roundtable discussion with former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, speaking with senior supporters. Later in the day, Trump held a rally in Allentown, Pennsylvania.

Harris, meanwhile, held a 30-minute scripted rally on the Ellipse in Washington, D.C. She urged voters to “start writing the next chapter in the most extraordinary story every told” by rejecting Trump.

“The United States of America is the greatest idea humanity ever devised,” Harris said. “In seven days, we have the power, each of you has the power, to turn the page, and start writing the next chapter in the most extraordinary story ever told,” she added.

Biden calls Trump supporters ‘garbage’ during Harris campaign call

President Biden on Tuesday dismissed former President Trump’s supporters as “garbage” during a Kamala Harris campaign call.

The president was referring to a comedian’s joke that ruffled feathers at the beginning of Trump’s Sunday-night rally in Madison Square Garden, likening Puerto Rico to an island of floating garbage in the ocean.

“The only garbage I see floating out there is his supporters,” Biden said. “His demonization of Latinos is unconscionable. And it’s un-American.”

The Biden White House later tried to clarify to NBC News that the president was referring to the comedian, Tony Hinchcliffe.

The comments came before Harris’ closing arguments speech to supporters, where she called for unity, and for Americans to turn the page.

It is time to stop pointing fingers. We have to stop pointing fingers and start locking arms. It is time to turn the page on the drama and the conflict,” Harris said. “The fear and division. It is time for a new generation of leadership in America. And I am ready to offer that leadership as the next president of the United States of America.”

Kamala Harris says Trump wants nationwide abortion ban

Vice Presidential Kamala Harris, in her closing arguments to supporters in Washington, D.C., Sunday, claimed that her Republican rival, former President Trump, wants a nationwide abortion ban.

“And I believe in the fundamental freedom of Americans to make decisions about their own bodies and not have their government tell them what to do,” Harris said. “I will fight to restore what Donald Trump and his hand-selected Supreme Court justices took away from the women of America.”

Harris said that one in three women in the U.S. live in a state “with a Trump abortion ban, many with no exceptions, even for rape and incest.”

The idea that a woman who survives a crime of a violation to her body should not have the authority to make a decision about what happens to her body next. That is immoral,” Harris said. “And Trump's not done. He would ban abortion nationwide, restrict access to birth control, and put IVF treatments at risk, and force states to monitor women's pregnancy.”

Harris pulls ad buys from North Carolina: report

The Harris-Walz campaign has pulled millions of dollars worth of ads from major North Carolina media markets, according to AdImpact Politics, which tracks political ads in real time.

The campaign initially made $2.7 million in new political ad reservations in the state heading into the final week of the election. However, as of Tuesday morning, the campaign has removed $2 million worth of campaign ads amid a battle to secure the crucial swing state.

It came a day before Harris is scheduled to campaign in Raleigh, the only North Carolina media market where she is leading former President Donald Trump, The North Carolina Journal reported.

The state is almost two weeks into early voting, which has seen increases in turnout among registered Republicans and a drop among registered Democrats, the report said.

NYC Mayor Adams scolds media over question comparing Trump and Hitler

New York Mayor Eric Adams scolded the media over questions about comparing former President Trump to Adolf Hitler, instead of talking about "real issues facing" voters.

“With all that is going with everyday New Yorkers, we're asking questions that is someone a fascist or is someone a Hitler. That's insulting to me,” Adams said Tuesday.

He said the election season rhetoric needs to be toned down because “after Election Day, we still have to be the United States and not the divided states," saying there are real issues facing New Yorkers.

“Refuse to participate in that,” said Adams.

“When I'm at these town halls talking to people there, they're not asking me these silly questions,” he added.

WaPo newsroom in uproar over Jeff Bezos' 'tone-deaf' op-ed defending non-endorsement, staffer says

The Washington Post rank and file has not responded warmly to its owner Jeff Bezos' op-ed defending the paper's decision not to make an endorsement in the 2024 presidential race.

"Terrible. Whole newsroom in uproar over it. Tone-deaf and ill-informed," one staffer told Fox News Digital.

The central argument of the op-ed was the widespread distrust Americans have in the legacy media.

"We must be accurate, and we must be believed to be accurate. It’s a bitter pill to swallow, but we are failing on the second requirement," Bezos wrote on Monday. "Most people believe the media is biased. Anyone who doesn’t see this is paying scant attention to reality, and those who fight reality lose. Reality is an undefeated champion. It would be easy to blame others for our long and continuing fall in credibility (and, therefore, decline in impact), but a victim mentality will not help. Complaining is not a strategy. We must work harder to control what we can control to increase our credibility."

Nevada emerges as key battleground state in run-up to election: report

In the run-up to the election Nevada has emerged as a key battleground with campaigns for both former President Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris holding events there in recent weeks.

The Silver State struggles with levels of high unemployment and has one of the nation’s highest discrepancies between housing costs and income.

Per reporting from The Wall Street Journal, Trump maintains a narrow lead in the state, but both campaigns have been pitching their economic vision. Much of the activity has revolved around Reno, Nevada, which has a near equal mix of Democrats and Republicans.

In recent weeks, Trump’s running mate JD Vance, and Harris’ VP pick, Gov. Tim Walz, have held rallies at casino in Reno, promising lower taxes and cheaper housing.

Trump claims Harris runs 'a campaign of absolute hate' after backlash to Madison Square Garden rally

With one week left till Election Day, former President Donald Trump is firing back at Vice President Kamala Harris and her team for spreading "a campaign of destruction and absolute hate."

"Very simply, Kamala Harris is the worst Vice President in history...Her message to Americans is all division and hate," Trump captioned in a video on his social media platform, Truth Social.

"My message is about saving our economy, securing our border, and bringing together the greatest and broadest coalition in American history," Trump continued.

The former president addressed a room of supporters at his Mar-a-Lago estate on Tuesday, hours before Harris was set to deliver what her campaign has described as her closing speech on the Ellipse outside the White House, where she is expected to urge the country to turn the page on Trump.

Trump in roundtable says inflation is bad, but 'border is number 1'

Former President Trump participated in a roundtable with former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee Tuesday where he explained what, in his opinion, was the most important issue facing America.

The Republican presidential candidate said inflation was bad, but the border was much worse.

“[E]very poll has inflation and the economy as the number one thing. And the third is the border … I think inflation’s horrible. It’s destroying people. It’s a country buster. But I don’t think it’s inflation. I don’t think it’s the economy. I think the number one thing is the border that millions of people are being sent into our country,” Trump said.

Trump alleged that Latin American countries are unleashing gang members and prisoners into the U.S.

“We’re a garbage can for their people. And these are rough prisoners. These are really rough people,” Trump said. “These are not people that you want to say, ‘oh, gee, let’s dinner tomorrow night.’”

Harris to portray Trump as divisive, unstable in closing arguments

Vice President Kamala Harris is expected to make her closing arguments to the American people Tuesday evening, making the case why she is a better alternative than her Republican opponent, Donald Trump.

According to excerpts of her prepared remarks released by her campaign,  Harris will attack Trump for an "Enemies List" of people she claims he "intends to prosecute."

She will criticize him for his what she says is his pledge to set free “violent extremists” who participated in the Jan. 6, 2021, riots at the U.S. Capitol.

Harris will claim that Trump intends to use the U.S. military against American citizens who disagree with him - claiming he calls them "the enemy from within."

By contrast, Harris is expected to portray herself as a uniter, one who will “seek common ground and common-sense solutions to make your lives better.”

“I am not looking to score political points. I am looking to make progress. I pledge to listen to experts. To those who will be impacted by the decisions I make. And to people who disagree with me,” Harris is expected to say. “Unlike Donald Trump, I don’t believe people who disagree with me are the enemy. He wants to put them in jail. I’ll give them a seat at my table. And I pledge to be a President for all Americans. To always put country above party and above self.”

Michael Bloomberg becomes 2nd largest Harris donor behind George Soros: Report

Former New York City mayor and billionaire businessman Michael Bloomberg became the second-largest individual donor to Vice President Kamala Harris' campaign after George Soros, following a reported $50 million donation to the main super PAC funding the vice president's campaign.

Bloomberg donated nearly $20 million over the summer to support President Biden's re-election campaign, but he conspicuously held out any donations to Harris after she replaced Biden on the Democratic Party's ticket. However, amid pressure from fellow billionaires, Bloomberg did finally cut a check to support Harris, according to The New York Times, which reportedly spoke with four people who are familiar with the donation.

The $50 million went to Future Forward USA Action, the main dark money super PAC that is supporting Harris. Prior to Harris taking over the ticket, Future Forward was the main political action committee supporting Biden.

Speaker Mike Johnson reveals Trump's 'little secret' ahead of Election Day after Democrats panic

House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., on Monday told voters in Pennsylvania that the "little secret" former President Trump mentioned at his Madison Square Garden rally is a get-out-the-vote strategy, not something "diabolical."

Democrats have been in panic since Trump teased Sunday that his "little secret" with Johnson would help Republicans keep the House of Representatives come Election Day. A New York Times article suggested that in the worst case scenario, Democrats feared Johnson would work with Trump to steal the election and stop the certification of results on Jan. 6. 2025, should Vice President Harris win.

"It’s nothing scandalous, but we’re having a ball with this. The media, their heads are exploding. ‘What is the secret?’" Johnson said Monday at an event for GOP congressional candidate Ryan Mackenzie, according to The Hill.

"It’s a thing we have about — it’s a get-out-the-vote. It’s one of our tactics on get-out-the-vote," Johnson said in response to a voter's question about Trump's comment.

"But they are convinced," the speaker added, jokingly rubbing his hands together like he had an evil plan.

On Sunday, Trump said his "little secret" with Johnson would help Republicans win congressional elections, but he otherwise kept tight-lipped about it.

"I think with our little secret we’re going to do really well with the House, right?" Trump said, directing his remarks at Johnson. "Our little secret is having a big impact. He and I have a little secret — we will tell you what it is when the race is over."

Will Trump ask former top GOP rival Nikki Haley to join him on campaign trail during final stretch?

As she faces off against former President Trump in the race for the White House, Vice President Kamala Harris is making a full court press to land the support of disaffected Republicans.

While Trump retains vast sway over the GOP, even a small sliver of Republicans supporting Harris could make an important impact in what will likely be a race within the margins in the key battleground states.

Many of those Republican voters Harris is targeting backed former U.N. ambassador and former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley, who was Trump's final remaining rival earlier this year in the GOP presidential primaries.

Haley eventually supported Trump a couple of months after ending her White House bid, but with one week to go until Election Day, the GOP presidential nomination runner-up has yet to join Trump on the campaign trail.

Sources confirmed to Fox News a week and a half ago that Haley, who will be a live guest on "Special Report with Bret Baier" at 6 p.m. ET on the Fox News Channel on Tuesday, has been in talks to join Trump on the campaign trail.

Haley gave Trump's team a list of dates on which she would be available to join the former president.

And Trump campaign senior adviser Jason Miller told Fox News' Aishah Hasnie, "Stay tuned," when asked earlier this month when Haley may join the former president on the campaign trail.

Harris and Trump are in close races in Arizona and Nevada, polls say

Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump are locked in close races in Arizona and Nevada with just a week to go until Election Day, new polls have found.

Both results fall within the polls’ margin of error, which is plus or minus 4.4% in Arizona and 4.6% in Nevada.

For the survey, 781 voters in Arizona were questioned, along with 683 in Nevada.

Across both states, 92% of voters say they have made up their minds regarding their vote, while just 8% indicate that they can still be persuaded one way or the other.

Trump announces compensation fund for 'victims of migrant crime'

Former President Donald Trump said Tuesday that “I'm announcing that for the first time under my administration, we will be seizing the assets of the criminal gangs and drug cartels. And we will use those assets to create a compensation fund to provide restitution for the victims of migrant crime.

“And the government will help in the restitution,” he added. “But something has to be done, and we're going to get it done.”

Biden-Harris administration has brought the 'worst inflation in our lifetime,' Trump says

Former President Trump on Tuesday said that the Biden-Harris administration has brought "the worst inflation in our lifetime."

“Half of Americans are saying they're broke. They have no money. Two thirds say they're living from paycheck to paycheck,” Trump said during an event at Mar-a-Lago. “And that's a record number. We've never had that, to that extent. We've never, ever had that. Millions of Americans are lying awake at night, worried about how they will pay their bills because Kamala wrecked their family finances.”

“She's got no empathy for the hard-working Americans whose dreams she's killed, and said recently that there is not one thing that she would do differently from Biden,” Trump continued.

“That's only because she choked. I'm sure she could have come up with a couple of things if she really thought about it, because there's been so much destruction caused by the Biden administration,” Trump also said.

Trump says Harris is talking about 'Hitler' and 'Nazis' because her 'record is horrible'

Former President Donald Trump said Tuesday that Vice President Kamala Harris is "going out and only criticizing, talking about Hitler and Nazi[s] because her record is horrible.

“Her borders are the worst in the history of the world,” he said.

Trump then played a campaign advertisement featuring Alexis Nungaray, the mother of Jocelyn Nungaray, talking about the murder of her 12-year-old daughter. Two illegal immigrants from Venezuela have been charged with capital murder in that case.

"What Kamala did to Jocelyn and her family is the most heartless and cold blooded betrayal imaginable. Thousands of cases just like that, thousands in throwing open the border," Trump said. "Think of it, open borders. They come in from parts unknown. People have no idea who they are, where they're from, anything about them. They know nothing."

"Kamala violated her oath," Trump added. "She desecrated our laws and she got innocent girls like Jocelyn tortured and killed. Anyone who knowingly sets loose these monsters into our country has absolutely no right to be running for office, let alone the office of president."

Trump says ‘we’re leading’ in seven swing states

Former President Donald Trump said Tuesday that “We're leading, I believe, in all seven swing states” as Election Day is just a week away.

“There are some bad spots in Pennsylvania where, some serious things have been caught or in the process of being caught,” Trump said, without elaborating, before adding, “but, the election itself is going very well.”

“In less than four years, Kamala Harris has obliterated our borders, obliterated. We've never had a situation like this. Decimated the middle class and runaway inflation has caused problems the likes of which we never thought possible,” Trump added during an event at his Mar-a-Lago residence in Florida.

“I'm running on a plan to save America. We're going to save America,” he also said.

Charlamagne Tha God says Shapiro should have been Harris VP pick: Walz not 'ready for the big stage'

Multimedia mogul Charlamagne Tha God insisted Vice President Kamala Harris should have picked Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro to be her running mate on the Democratic ticket instead of Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, whom he suggested wasn't ready for primetime.

In an interview on The New Yorker's "The Political Scene" podcast, Charlamagne listed Harris and Shapiro among other Democrats he praised as representing a new generation of leaders.

New Yorker editor David Remnick quickly pointed out Walz wasn't on the list.

"What do you think of him?" Remnick asked.  "You gonna get me in trouble," Charlamagne jokingly responded.

The "Breakfast Club" co-host cited lyrics from rapper Jay-Z to capture how he felt about Walz: "You had a spark when you started, but now you're just garbage."

"And I'm not saying he's garbage," Charlamagne quickly clarified. "I think that a lot of the policies that he introduced in Minnesota are very, very, very good, but I think that they hired – I think he got the job because of vibes. And I don't know if those vibes were ready for the big stage like people thought that they were."

Indiana governor's race shifts from Likely R to Lean R in Power Rankings

In Indiana, Republican gubernatorial candidate Sen. Mike Braun should have been able to cruise to victory against any Democratic opponent.

But Braun’s hardline position on abortion has given Democrat Jennifer McCormick an opening. The state enacted a near total ban on abortion two years ago, which McCormick argues is too extreme. Braun maintains that Indiana should be a "right-to-life state."

There are also unusual partisan dynamics at play. The GOP’s candidate for lieutenant governor could impact support for the Republican ticket among moderates, and there is a Libertarian on the ballot.

Indiana’s governor race moves from Solid R to Likely R in the latest Fox News Power Rankings.

Harris-Walz campaign co-chair responds to Trump being called ‘fascist’ and ‘Hitler’

Harris-Walz campaign co-chair Cedric Richmond told “America’s Newsroom” Tuesday that “If you want to know why people call Trump Hitler, maybe you should start with JD Vance who did that.”

Richmond was referring to Vance calling Trump potentially "America's Hitler" and an "idiot" prior to the 2016 election. Vance has since said he was wrong about Trump and is now on the 2024 Republican ticket.

"Fascist was an answer to a question that was asked at a town hall and it was a direct question and the vice president gave a very direct answer,” Richmond added. “And it’s consistent with the people who worked around him.”

“We have a to-do list and he has a hit list of people that he wants to get revenge on. So we are going to stay focused on the American people, he will stay focused on the people he wants to get revenge at,” he also said. “And that is the choice that voters are going to have to make.”

Control of House remains 'toss-up' in new Power Rankings

The House is still a toss-up in this week's Fox News Power Rankings; the final forecast before the election.

Beneath the surface, the battle for the gavel is getting more expensive. House candidates have spent more than $3 billion on their races so far, concentrated in roughly 40 battleground districts.

Democrats have raised and spent nearly twice as much as Republicans, and that is an important factor in Pennsylvania’s 7th district.

Incumbent Democratic Rep. Susan Wild is financially dominant, with $7.5 million in campaign spending this cycle to GOP rival and state Rep. Ryan Mackenzie’s $1.2 million. The district moves from Toss Up to Lean D.

Money is also a big part of the story in Illinois’ 17th district and Indiana’s 1st district. Democratic incumbents in these races have spent at least three times as much as their Republican opponents. These seats move from Lean D to Likely D.

The cash is flowing in Arizona’s 2nd district too. Incumbent GOP Rep. Eli Crane faces a challenge from Democrat and former President of the Navajo Nation Jonathan Nez in this disproportionately Native American district.

Nez has dropped $3.7 million on the race and is focusing on his work with Trump on water access. Crane, meanwhile, is highlighting the border. The 2nd district moves from Solid R to Likely R.

Virginia’s 7th district is more competitive than ever. Democrats have fielded Eugene Vindman, a Navy veteran, while Republicans are looking for a flip with attorney Derrick Anderson. This district moves from Lean D to Toss Up.

Power Rankings forecast GOP control of Senate, 3 races shift to 'toss-up'

Republicans are poised to flip the Senate with at least 51 seats, beginning with an all-but-certain win in West Virginia, followed by Montana, where they have an edge. The next best opportunity is in Ohio, which is still a toss-up.

Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin all move from Lean D and join the toss-up category this week.

Republicans have been chipping away at their opponents’ leads in these states since the campaigns heated up, and polling now shows races within the margin-of-error.

All three Democratic candidates are still over-performing the top of the ticket by a point or two, and the campaigns are clearly aware: they have all promoted their work with Trump on bipartisan bills in new television ads.

The GOP is unlikely to pick off all three of these seats, but any would be gravy on top of a likely majority flip.

Fox News Power Rankings: Arizona is Trump's to lose, but this election is anyone's to win

After an unprecedented four years in politics, voters are evenly divided on who should next lead the free world.

Former President Donald Trump is one state closer to a stunning comeback in this week's Fox News Power Rankings; the final forecast before the election.

But Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris both have pathways to victory, and among many scenarios, it is plausible that Democrats win by a single electoral vote.

The presidential race is a toss-up. Neither Harris nor Trump have the 270 electoral votes required to win the race. They need to win the right combination of six toss-up states worth a total 82 electoral votes to bring it home.

Surveys show races within the margin-of-error in all the battleground states, but when looked at together, the polling in Arizona tells a different story.

In eight high-quality polls conducted in this state since August, Trump has been ahead in seven. His edge has been between 1-6 points.

That advantage does not exist for Harris or Trump in any other battleground state.

Joe Rogan says Harris sitdown was scrapped after campaign told him she 'only wanted to do an hour'

Podcast giant Joe Rogan revealed his sitdown with Vice President Kamala Harris was scrapped due to the demands from her campaign, although he left open the possibility it could still happen if on his terms.

On Friday, Rogan sat down with former President Trump for a three-hour conversation that has already earned more than 36 million views on YouTube. Episodes of "The Joe Rogan Experience" are usually between two and three hours long.

After sharing the Trump podcast on X, Rogan cleared the air as to why he has not sat down with the Democratic nominee, although he left open the chance it could happen.

"Also, for the record, the Harris campaign has not passed on doing the podcast," Rogan wrote late Monday night. "They offered a date for Tuesday, but I would have had to travel to her and they only wanted to do an hour. I strongly feel the best way to do it is in the studio in Austin."

"My sincere wish is to just have a nice conversation and get to know her as a human being. I really hope we can make it happen," Rogan added.

Melania Trump says her husband is ‘not Hitler,’ calls rhetoric being used against him ‘terrible’

Former First Lady Melania Trump told “Fox & Friends” Tuesday that her husband is “not Hitler,” describing the rhetoric being used against him in the final week of the election season as “terrible.”

“And all of his supporters, they're standing behind him because they want to see the country [be] successful,” she added.

Melania Trump said the election cycle is “different” and “much more dangerous” this time around with two assassination attempts against Donald Trump.

“I'm very vigilant and very selective where I go, what I do. Because you never know,” she said. “It’s dangerous out there.”

Melania says she has always told former President Trump “good luck and be safe” on the campaign trail.

“You never know what kind of phone call you will receive and what can happen in life. Right? Life is fragile and we need to enjoy it every day,” she added.

The former first lady told “Fox & Friends” that the support she is seeing for Donald Trump “is incredible and people see what is going on in the country and what kind of leadership they want.”

“They want prosperity. They want the American Dream coming back. So that's what we will decide on November 5th,” she said.

When asked if she would be anxious to be first lady again, Melania Trump said “I'm not anxious because this time is different.

“I have much more experience, much more knowledge. I was in the White House before, so, when you go in you know exactly what to expect.”

Trump says America will have a ‘new golden age’

Former President Donald Trump said during a rally in Atlanta on Monday that “I’m asking you to dream big again and this will be America’s new golden age, we are going to have a golden age.

“Hard to believe after the four years – almost four years – of what we have gone through. It’s hard to believe I can even say that. Some people would say ‘he’s got to be crazy’ -- no we are going to have a golden age, it’s going to happen fast,” Trump added.

Trump is set to speak to the press at Mar-a-Lago in Florida at 10 a.m. ET this morning before heading to Pennsylvania.

News anchor dropped after social media post about Trump and Harris

Local Biloxi news anchor David "Dave" Elliott has reported he was fired after speaking about politics on social media in his free time.

Elliot worked for South Mississippi-based news station WLOX for nearly 4 decades and, according to the Biloxi Sun Herald, once joked that he planned to die of old age in his anchor chair. As of Friday, however, the anchor appeared to be out of a job.

"I’m no longer at Wlox as of 10-25-24. The corporation doesn’t like my political views," Elliot wrote on Facebook.

The news anchor had recently posted a video where he suggested people shouldn't vote if they are just doing so out of hatred for former President Trump.

"This is so unlike me because I'm usually a ‘vote, vote, vote!’ guy. I’d like to see 100% voter turnout, whether it’s for your local sheriff or President of the United States, but if your hatred for Donald Trump is so strong — that’s kind of a sickness, by the way — but if it’s so strong that you’re planning to go in that voting booth and vote for Kamala Harris, do you listen to her? Do you know anything about her?" he asked in a video he posted to X Wednesday. "Anyway, do yourself, do the country, do the world a favor and just sit it out. Stay home, don’t vote. This has been a public service announcement."

New Jersey gubernatorial candidate predicts Trump will win state

Jack Ciattarelli, who is running for governor in New Jersey in 2025, told “Fox & Friends First” on Tuesday that he believes former President Donald Trump can win the state.

“New Jersey is not a deep blue state, we can win here, and I do think Donald Trump is going to do that,” Ciattarelli said. “What we are seeing is phenomenal – Republicans are finally embracing the opportunity to vote early, the return rate on vote-by-mail ballots has been fantastic, local Republican organizations are doing a great job in getting the word out. I’m excited by what we are going to see come Election Day.

More than 850,000 ballots have already been cast in New Jersey as of Sunday. Although Democrats are leading in mail-in ballots, in-person voting is essentially tied.

“Kamala Harris has taken New Jersey for granted,” Ciattarelli, a Republican, also said. “She hasn’t campaigned here, not once.”

Experts explain how campaigns turn out vote in Michigan, other battlegrounds in final days

Election swing state Michigan will be decided by which campaigns can get the most voters out to the polls in the final week of the race, according to multiple experts.

"The campaign’s No. 1 priority and the party’s priority right now is getting our people out to vote," Jimmy Keady, the founder and president of Republican consulting firm JLK Political Strategies, told Fox News Digital.

The comments come with just one week to go in a dramatic election season, with just a handful of battleground states in play that will decide the fate of the race.

Perhaps the most important of those states is Michigan, a swing state that narrowly went to Donald Trump in 2016 before flipping back to Joe Biden in another close race in the 2020 election.

Polls indicate yet another tight race brewing in the state, with the RealClearPolitics polling average showing a razor-thin 0.1 point lead for Trump as of Monday. Meanwhile, the latest Fox News Power Rankings lists Michigan as a toss-up, and Trump is only a slight betting favorite in the state, with ElectionBettingOdds.com showing the former president with a 53.2% chance of carrying the state as of Monday.

According to Keady, the part of the race in which candidates attempt to persuade voters is mostly over, with Michigan coming down to who has the ground game to get the numbers out between now and next Tuesday. Republicans will also be focused on turning out low propensity voters, Keady said, a demographic the party has targeted in the hopes the group could potentially push them over the top.

Trump heads to Pennsylvania for rally, roundtable on ‘Biden-Harris administration’s failed policies'

Former President Trump is heading to Pennsylvania on Tuesday for two campaign events.

He first will join a roundtable hosted by the nonprofit Building America’s Future in Drexel Hill, outside of Philadelphia.

“The roundtable will feature Southeast Pennsylvania residents who will share how the Biden-Harris administration’s failed policies have hurt seniors on Medicare, living on a fixed income, and more,” reads a description of the event on Trump’s website.

“President Trump has been committed to protecting our nation's seniors,” it adds. “During his first term President Trump took steps to strengthen Medicare and social security, while lowering the cost of living to make life more affordable.”

Trump will then head to Allentown this evening for a rally at the PPL Center arena.

Kamala Harris rally attendees grow silent after she jokingly told them to 'shout your own name'

Vice President Kamala Harris was holding a rally in Michigan on Monday when the crowd was stunned in silence after her apparent attempt at a joke in which she told the crowd cheering her name to "shout your own name."

"We are all here because we are fighting for a democracy and for the right of people to be heard and seen," Harris told the energetic crowd in Ann Arbor, Michigan. "We're not about the enemy within. We know we are all in this together. That's what we are fighting for."

The crowd then erupted in applause and chants of "Ka-ma-la, Ka-ma-la."

"Now I want each of you to shout your own name. Do that," Harris instructed the audience.

The crowd appeared confused and went almost silent as Harris laughed at the awkward moment.

"It's about all of us," Harris explained before continuing her speech.

Harris to give closing argument with White House as backdrop

Vice President Kamala Harris brings her presidential campaign to the nation's capital on Tuesday, as she delivers what's being billed as her closing argument address to American voters.

With one week until Election Day, the vice president and Democratic presidential nominee will call on Americans to ‘turn the page’ on former President Trump, the Republican nominee.

And a senior Harris campaign adviser also said the vice president, in what's being touted as an optimistic and hopeful speech, will pledge to always put country and common ground above party to achieve results for all Americans.

According to her campaign, Harris plans to argue that Trump - who four years later continues to charge that his 2020 election defeat to President Biden was due to an election rigged with massive voter fraud - is all-consumed by his grievances and desire for retribution that he's not focused on the needs of Americans.

Harris will deliver her address from the Ellipse, a large park located just south of the White House and north of the National Mall.

The Harris campaign points to two symbolic reasons for the Ellipse as the location of the vice president's address.

First, the backdrop is the White House, where either Harris or Trump will soon succeed Biden in the Oval Office.

And second, Trump headlined a large rally of supporters at the Ellipse on Jan 6, 2021. Many of those who attended Trump's rally then marched to the U.S. Capital and joined other protesters in storming the building in an attempt to upend congressional certification of Biden's 2020 election victory over Trump.
