Alec and Hilaria Baldwin celebrated Halloween on Sunday night with their six children, nearly two weeks after an on-set shooting that left cinematographer Halyna Hutchins dead.
"Parenting through this has been an intense experience, to say the least," Hilaria wrote in an Instagram caption. "Today, we rallied to give them a holiday."
The couple welcomed their sixth child, María Lucía Victoria, earlier this year. Alec is also the father to his 26-year-old daughter Ireland.
Alec Baldwin returned to somewhat normal Twitter behavior this week for the first time since an on-set shooting incident he was involved in left cinematographer Halyna Hutchins dead.
In addition to complimenting Mario Cantone’s Halloween costume and retweeting a thread about the importance of teachers, Baldwin offered a brief political jab in response to an author’s question to his followers

Safety standards developed by film studios and entertainment industry labor unions are what’s protecting other sets from suffering a similar incident to that of the Alec Baldwin shooting on the set of "Rust."
Although the industry standard across the board seems to be to treat weapons, even those loaded with blanks, as lethal, shootings and deaths have nevertheless taken place. The most recent being the death of Halyna Hutchins, who was killed when a gun held by Baldwin discharged on the set of "Rust" that struck her in the chest and wounded director Joel Souza.

"We are thankful to learn that Director Joel Souza was released to begin his recovery. Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone associated with the ‘Rust’ production and to everyone in the entertainment industry as this affects us all."

Alec and Hilaria Baldwin stepped out for drinks at a Vermont bar Friday night as an investigation into a deadly on-set shooting involving the A-list star is underway in New Mexico.
Baldwin had a non-alcoholic IPA and Hilaria ordered wine. The couple shared a kiss after a long day out with the kids. And they dug into plate after plate.
Earlier that evening, a hostess at the front door said the bar area was closed. And the bartender turned away patrons throughout the night.
Baldwin’s New England respite comes as the "Rust" movie production – of which he is a part – is under investigation in New Mexico. A firearm accident on set left cinematographer Halyna Hutchins dead and a bullet lodged in director Joel Souza’s shoulder.

Hilaria Baldwin shared her support for husband Alec Baldwin after the actor spoke publicly about the fatal shooting of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins for the first time Saturday.
Hilaria shared a photo of the couple's hands intertwined on her Instagram."I love you and I’m here," she captioned the post.
Hilaria told the New York Post that she worries Baldwin will develop Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).
"I brought [Alec] up here because we have to mourn Halyna’s death," she told the outlet. "Alec had a really traumatic thing happen, and I am trying to limit the PTSD."
