Armorer Hannah Gutierrez Reed’s attorneys appeared on the “Today” show Wednesday where they made the explosive allegation that a disgruntled crew member intentionally introduced live rounds to the set.
The statement implies that crew members who walked off the job the morning of the shooting. However, first camera assistant Lane Luper, who was among those who walked out on that day responded to the claim calling it “irresponsible” and “slanderous.”
He noted to the “Today” show Thursday that he and others eventually left their jobs on “Rust” due to unsafe conditions and “corner-cutting” on behalf of production.
