New York City-based designer Autumn Hawk says that while it can be difficult to take this trend seriously, she believes it’s here to stay and anyone, regardless of their age, can pull it off. “The key to wearing the trend is to understand that the very pattern, or the cut, is enough,” she says. “Avoid prints or patterns.
