From Jackie O to Taylor Swift, the late Oscar de la Renta had a knack for transforming stars into style icons with his glamorous couture. He was active to the very end, too, as the Dominican-born designer stirred headlines for making the ivory tulle gown worn by Amal Alamuddin at her Venice wedding to George Clooney only weeks ago. So even though he passed on Monday at age 82 due to complications of cancer, his legacy will continue to live on through his wardrobe.
