The first lady really loves her Jason Wu gowns. Michelle Obama wore one of the designer's dresses to the 2009 inaugural ball, and she stunned in yet another of Wu's creations last night.
Obama's first Jason Wu dress, which she wore to the 2009 inaugural ball, was an embellished chiffon gown in white featuring a single shoulder strap. As for the rest of her ensemble, the first lady chose to accessorize with diamond jewelry designed by Loree Rodkin and a pair of Jimmy Choo shoes.
For the 2013 inauguration celebration, Obama opted again to drape herself in a Wu dress, this time a ruby-colored gown featuring a halter-neck as well as velvet details. The first lady rounded out her inaugural ensemble with a diamond ring designed my Kimberly McDonald and — just as in 2009 — Jimmy Choo heels.
