A Miami-based Catholic priest who left the Church after photos surfaced of him smooching his then-girlfriend on the beach is now the father of a baby girl.
The Miami Herald reports that Alberto Cutié said in an e-mail that Camila Victoria Cutie was born Tuesday. Cutié wrote in the e-mail that there "is great joy in being a Father, who is also a 'father.'"
Cutié is married to Ruhama Buni Cutié and leads the Episcopal Church of the Resurrection in Biscayne Park.
Before the photos surfaced, Cutié, known as "Father Oprah," had hosted a popular cable television show and had an advice column.
