Amazon delivery driver hilariously honors request to 'hide packages from husband'
Cherish Longaberger’s humorous doormat led to a viral TikTok video after Amazon delivery driver hides package
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}An Amazon delivery driver’s close attention to detail has created a viral moment, and it all started with a gag doormat.
Oklahoma-based psych student Cherish Longaberger received a delivery earlier this month, but instead of finding the package at their doorstep, the Amazon driver left the small box behind a shrub.
Longaberger shared security camera footage of the unexpected delivery choice to TikTok with the caption: "My Amazon driver understood the assignment."

The delivery driver – Leeza Hall – saw the mat however and adjusted her course to comply with its embroidered instructions.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Longaberger told Fox News the doormat was purchased at Ross Stores about six months ago.
"The package was actually something my husband ordered and it was delivered the day before we saw the tape," Longaberger explained. "He was asking me if I had gotten it off the porch and I didn’t see any packages, so we checked the Nest Camera to see what happened and that’s when we saw her hide it for us and we just died laughing."

{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Longaberger uploaded the TikTok video on Thursday, Oct. 14, and the 32-second clip has been viewed more than 8.4 million times.
Thousands of commenters agree that Hall did in fact understand the assignment like Longaberger said. The joke is a direct reference to TikTok’s new favorite rap song "The Assignment," which is performed by American rapper Tay Money.

Hall identified herself in the comments section of Longaberger’s video and explained that she’s "still kinda new" to being an Amazon delivery driver. She reportedly started her role at the end of June.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}"I love how about 99% of the comments on my video have been positive, almost everyone understands it was a joke and meant to be funny," Longaberger told Fox News. "It makes me happy seeing so many people saying nice things about Leeza – the driver. We’ve been chatting on TikTok since the video went viral and she’s a really sweet person. My friends and family just think it’s hilarious."

Representatives at Amazon did not immediately respond to Fox News’ request for comment.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}It’s not just Hall who has followed the doormat’s humorous request. Five days after Longaberger shared the original viral video, another Amazon delivery driver hid a package behind the same shrub.
