Doctors forced a UK woman to give up her addiction of drinking two, 2-liter bottles of Diet Coke every day, The Daily Mail reported.
Claire Ayton, from Pailton, Warwickshire in England, said she was always feeling tired and thirsty, so she paid a visit to her doctor.
Blood tests did not show anything was wrong with her – so Ayton turned to a hypnotist, who uncovered the source of the problem.

Ayton, who has two children, has been drinking two, 2-liter bottles of Diet Coke every day for the past 10 years. The habit cost her more than $2,000 per year. She estimated she has consumed more than 7,000 bottles of the soda in the past decade.
Ayton, 36, had gained 42 pounds, which she attributed to the soft drink.
Since quitting in August, Ayton has begun drinking more water and said she feels healthier. It wasn’t easy to stop drinking the caffeine-infused drink – Ayton had headaches at first.

Now, Ayton is starting to lose weight – and she is saving money, too.
“I didn’t think of it as an addiction; it was an everyday thing,” Ayton said. “I’d have one coffee in the morning and nothing else to drink but diet cola for the rest of the day.”
