Talk about the kindness of strangers.
The world can seem incredibly selfish at times, but for one woman, who is battling against breast cancer, a random act of kindness from a complete stranger reminded her that there’s also a lot of good out there.
The pleasant surprise came when a kind stranger footed her restaurant bill.
Jerina Edwards, from Oklahoma, was tucking into a meal at her local Chinese eatery when she found out that a fellow diner had picked up the bill and left her a heartwarming note, before leaving without a word.
The man, who had lost his wife to the disease, said the meal was on him and wished Jerina a Merry Christmas.
