Donna Simpson has a goal: She wants to become the world's fattest woman. The 42-year-old New Jersey mother already weighs an astounding 600 pounds, and is determined to reach 1,000 pounds in the next two years.
According to a report in the Daily Mail, she already claimed the Guinness World Record as the world's fattest mom, when she gave birth in 2007. At the time, she weighed just over 530 pounds. (YouTube)
Simpson, who goes by the name "Treasure" on the Web site, www.supersizedbombshells.com, said she is flooded with e-mails from men. "They send me gifts like protein shakes to help me gain weight faster," Simpson said. Web site users have to pay to watch Simpson. "I love eating and people love watching me eat," she added. Simpson said her favorite food is sushi. "But unlike others, I can sit and eat 70 big pieces of sushi in one go," she said. She also loves cakes and sweet things, especially donuts. And from looking at this photo, she can't get enough soda either. (YouTube)
Although Simpson can only move about 20 feet before she needs to sit down, she said she still wants to reach her goal.
"I'd love to be 1,000 pounds," Simpson said. "It might be hard though. Running after my daughter keeps my weight down." However, if she continues to get bigger, experts say she could become immobile altogether.
"If she got to the 1,000 pounds, she won't be able to go after her child," said Dr. Carla Wolper, a registered dietician and research faculty member at the New York Obesity Research Center at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital in New York City. "She may end up becoming bedridden." (YouTube)
To achieve her goal of becoming the world's fattest woman, Simpson consumes up to 12,000 calories a day by eating fatty foods like pizza. Simpson said it costs her an estimated $750 a week to support her habit. (YouTube)
Despite the long list of health problems Simpson is facing in her quest to become the fattest woman, she still insists she is healthy. "I'm not hurting anyone," she said. (YouTube)
Simpson has plenty of support. Her boyfriend, Philippe, actually encourages her to eat more.
"I think he'd like it if I was bigger," Simpson said. "He's a real belly man and completely supports me." (YouTube)
