- April 3, 2008: A 19-year-old mandril monkey named Shiroko is anaesthetized by a veterinarian before undergoing dental treatment at the Biblical Zoo in Jerusalem. The dental procedure, performed by a dentist who usually treats humans, lasted about two hours.
