A Sacramento couple is getting an early Christmas gift this year: Doctors say they're ready to go home with their quadruplets after more than two months in the hospital.

Danielle Holaday gave birth to the rare set of quadruplets at just 26 weeks. The baby boys are unique because three of them - Evan, Kaydan, Jordan - are identical and the fourth - Dylan - is a fraternal quadruplet.

Doctors say there have only been 100 such cases documents in the United States.

Holaday and her husband, Ryan, say they struggled to get pregnant before turning to fertility treatments. After a difficult pregnancy, the boys were born Oct. 6, each weighing between 1.15 and 2.2 pounds.

As the family prepares to head home, the quads' due date is still three weeks away.
