The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) will meet on Tuesday to discuss distribution plans for the eventual coronavirus vaccine.
While frontline and health care workers, the elderly and other vulnerable populations are likely to be included in the high priority group, those with obesity may also make the list, according to a new report.
The meeting will come just one day after Moderna announced that it will apply for emergency use authorization of its coronavirus candidate, making it the second such company to do so.
