- Actress/supermodel Angie Everhart has been diagnosed with thyroid cancer, E! Online reported. "Word has been trickling out about ... Angie Everhart's health," her rep told E! News. "She wants to set the record straight by letting everyone know that it is true she has been diagnosed with thyroid cancer. However, the prognosis is good." According to E!, Everhart will undergo surgery on May 14. Everhart's rep said she hopes by sharing her news, other people will "learn about cancer prevention, its signs and treatment immediately."read more
- Brooke Burke-Charvet In a video titled “Cancer: Me?” actress Brooke Burke-Charvet, 41, of “Dancing With the Stars," revealed she was recently diagnosed with having a cancerous nodule on her thyroid gland, and she will undergoing surgery. “Long story. I got my results back, and they were not good,” she said in the video posted on her ModernMom blog. “I went for a regular physical and that’s how I discovered this,” she said. “I feel really good, and actually I’ve never felt better.
