Three 12-year-old students were hospitalized in Phoenix on Wednesday after taking antidepressants at their elementary school, MyFoxPhoenix.com reported.
The two boys and a girl were taken to a local hospital after taking two pills each, a spokesman for the El Mirage Police Department told the Arizona Republic. The name of the antidepressants was not reported.
Authorities said the girl had brought the pills from her home, after finding them in her parents' medicine cabinet.
The students were described as being extremely "lethargic" after taking the pills, although all three are expected to make a full recovery.
Police are investigating how the girl gained access to the cabinet.
