What is it about their soup?

A New Jersey restaurant is getting a show of support after NBC’s health correspondent Nancy Snyderman broke her Ebola quarantine and came to the eatery for a bowl of its soup.

The Peasant Grill in Hopewell, N.J. is a local favorite, with comfort food items like Cream of tomato, Chicken Barley, Thai Hot & Sour with Shrimp.  Owned by Barry and Michelle Klein, who opened it four years ago, the restaurant normally does brisk lunch and dinner business, serving up fresh salads and a  decadent bread pudding.

Despite Ebola concerns, the restaurant is open and still boasts a 4.5 star rating on Yelp-- although a few comments are peppered with Snyderman jokes, even calling her an "a**hole."

Instead of being shunned, the grill has received an outpouring of support on Facebook from people who blame the health correspondent and say they’ll be back to the restaurant soon.

Its owners posted a statement on their page Tuesday night, grateful the community response :

(function(d, s, id) { var js, fjs = d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0]; if (d.getElementById(id)) return; js = d.createElement(s); js.id = id; js.src = "//connect.facebook.net/en_US/all.js#xfbml=1"; fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js, fjs); }(document, 'script', 'facebook-jssdk'));

On Thursday, Planet Princeton reported that Snyderman, a New Jersey resident, was spotted at The Peasant Grill near Princeton Unviversity. TMZ reported that the correspondent remained in a parked car while someone ran in to fetch her order.

Snyderman had agreed to remain under quarantine after returning from an assignment in Liberia to cover the Ebola outbreak, where freelance cameraman Ashoka Mukpo was diagnosed with the virus.  After a slew of bad press, Snyderman  apologized for causing “concerns” with her quarantine violation, and her quarantine became mandatory.

The director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said that Snyderman did not put the public at risk.

“If she was not sick, she was not putting others at risk,” Dr. Thomas Frieden said when he appeared on CNN's “Situation Room With Wolf Blitzer."

But that didn't stop people from blasting Snyderman.

But despite the positive outlook online, it might not be business as usual at The Peasant Grill. The National Review says that neighbors are claiming the restaurant has been emptier recently after Snyderman's "selfish" trip.

FoxNews.com reached out to The Peasant Grill for comment, but have not gotten a call back.
